Whether you've attended church your entire life or you're walking into a church for the first time, we'd love to welcome you.
At Trussville First you'll find friendly people, meaningful worship, biblical teaching, and opportunities for every age to connect and grow.
We want your first visit to be comfortable and stress-free, so here's what you can expect.
What should I wear?
You'll see everything from jeans and casual attire to more traditional Sunday dress. Come as you are. Our focus is on worshipping God together, not on what you're wearing.
What are your services like?
- Traditional Worship | 8:30 AM: Our traditional service is held in the Sanctuary and features traditional hymns, our Chancel Choir, weekly communion with our Stephen Ministers, and a classic worship experience.
- Grace Vision Contemporary Worship | 11:00 AM: Grace Vision meets in the Christian Life Center and features modern worship music by our Praise Band. Coffee is available, and you'll find a welcoming and friendly atmosphere along with some familiar worship elements, including Apostle's Creed and Holy Communion.
Both services share the same biblical message and commitment to helping people connect with Christ.
What about my kids?
Visiting with children? We love families!
Nursery care is available during Sunday morning services, and age-appropriate opportunities are available for both children and students.
We will be happy to help you find the correct classroom and answer any questions when you arrive.
Absolutely! We livestream our services each Sunday, along with special events such as Holy Week and Advent. They can be found here as well as on our Facebook page and YouTube channel
Parking / Building Access:
Visitor parking is located in the front parking lot of First Methodist Trussville, right off North Chalkville Road. Additional parking is available at the back of the building. There are also handicap accessible parking and wheelchair ramps located throughout the campus.
Front Entrance
The double doors on the right of the building are the quickest access to our Fellowship Hall, upper floor Sunday School rooms and church office.
Church Sanctuary
The sets of doors on the left of the front parking lot lead to the sanctuary for our traditional services. This area is also wheelchair accessible.
Back Entrance
The two sets of double doors in the back parking lot take you to the Christian Life Center, where Grace Vision, our contemporary service meets each week.
Children / Students/ Nursery
The building directly behind the playground is where children, students and nursery are located. Access to this area is restricted to parents, teachers & staff only.
